It was our first time there tonight. It's very beautiful inside. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

sooo good - most authentic italian food we've had in Santa Clarita! we ordered the Spaghetti alla Pescatora, the Sogliola fish dish, and the Ravioli in the pistachio cream sauce and each one was so perfectly cooked and seasoned. the spaghetti was not too tomato-y/saucy or acidic. the fish was my favorite dish - slightly lemony, but not overpowering with smooth buttery mashed potatoes. and the ravioli was chef's kiss - not too creamy or heavily cheesy. 10/10 would recommend and we WILL come back again :)

We were working in the Valencia/Santa Clarita area and decided to try this restaurant. This is definitely the place to enjoy fresh, authentic Italian food, cooked to perfection with high-quality ingredients. We ordered the Pizza Trattoria from the specials, and we were truly impressed. The crust was perfect, and the pizza was unlike any we have ever had. The tomato sauce is added after the dough is baked, then topped with cheese and pesto, just as shown in the picture. Amazingly delicious! The gentleman who brought the pizza to our table, Francesco, turned out to be the same person who had prepared the dough 48 hours earlier. He was incredibly kind to us, and so was our server, Cesar (I hope I got his name right). We also ordered the ossobuco, the ribeye, the salads, and everything was very good, but the pizza was truly unforgettable. In fact, we went back the very next day just to have the pizza again before driving back home. That says it all! Thank you, Piccola Trattoria, for such a wonderful experience. We had a fantastic dinner at Piccola Trattoria. The food was really good across the board, and you can tell they use very fresh ingredients. ​What we ordered: ​The Pizza: We had the Mediterranea, and it was spectacular. It’s topped with a generous amount of calamari, shrimp, clams, mussels, and scallops. The crust had a perfect char, and the fresh arugula on top added a nice bite. ​The Soups: We tried both the Zuppa di Granoturco (a velvety, sweet corn purée) and a classic Minestrone. The minestrone was light, healthy, and packed with perfectly chopped garden vegetables—exactly what you want in an authentic Italian soup. ​Salmone alla Griglia: The salmon was cooked perfectly and paired with a rich Marsala wine and mushroom sauce that was delicious. The mashed potatoes were smooth and the side of veggies was a great addition. ​Overall Experience: The atmosphere is cozy and the service was great. They also start you off with excellent crusty bread and fresh parmesan. It’s a wonderful spot for a high-quality, authentic meal. I’ll definitely be returning!
